What is the .AUTO domain extension?

It's a new generic top-level domain (gTLD) which will be released by the internet's governing body ICANN as one of the many domain alternatives to the existing .COM, .NET or .ORG suffixes.

When can I buy a .AUTO web address?

There is no exact launch date yet. We hope registrations to begin in 2015, subject to approval by ICANN. You can pre-order domains at iwantmyname before launch and we will attempt to register them as soon as the registry opens.

How much will it cost?

No price available at this stage. Our .AUTO domain pricing will be announced closer to the Sunrise (for trademark owners) and Landrush (general availability) periods.
